Not to mention, with $4 billion dollars??!! Hmmm I bet some how a lot of it would end up "unaccounted for".

As far as I'm concerned, the U.N. is a bottomless pit of wasted American tax dollars!

The U.S. contributes more to the U.N. than any other country -- 22 percent of the regular UN budget and 27 percent of the peacekeeping budget. We're giving them well over $3 billion dollars a year! And for what?

My today's rant

No matter who you all vote for (speaking only to Republicans), I have found the debates very entertaining to say the least! Sometimes comical, sometimes embarrassing.

One thing that makes me mad though, is how the moderators (liberal Wolf Blitzer etc, and the liberal media CNN) will try with all their might to make it a personal boxing match instead of talking about the real issues!

There are a number of things I like about each one of the candidates, but not just one person has everything I'm looking for. If I could just take some parts of each one of them, and make a model of the combination, I'd be happy. lol

Bottom line is, I’ll probably be voting for Mitt Romney, but I wouldn’t be against Rick Santorum either. Santorum has come from way behind since the beginning, and now shows a LOT of confidence, and people recognize and follow that, but I think people don't like his stand on abortion etc, that I believe will hurt him (even though it shouldn't).

Ron Paul has some good ideas, but I do NOT agree with him on bringing ALL the military home and leaving all other countries without a U.S. military presence (dumb dumb idea IMO), but I like his idea the best when it comes to doing away with the IRS and other destructive institutions.

Along comes Newt, this guy would be a great debater with Obama, but he doesn’t have “the look” (notice he rarely looks anyone in the eye? lol ), nor the charisma that attracts people like Obama can do. I think when it comes to that, Mitt Romney has the best chance (with Santorum running a close 2nd). Newt is a VERY smart guy, but a true blue politician (which i don't care for). He also has too much of a clouded past.

Mitt has the finances, AND "the look" (you know, that Game Show Host look.. very good looking, clean and well spoken). But being almost Oprah rich doesn't sit well with some.

Will being Mormon hurt him? I seriously doubt it, maybe a few, but nothing to be a real concern, I think people are beyond that.

What people are more concerned about, was his stance on health care in his State when Governor, but he has many times since, explained (hopefully) that away.

He really needs to be super aggressive in debating Obama (if he has that opportunity). Last time (4 yrs ago), he lost in a big way by being too nice and not attacking, he showed too much respect, or just simply couldn’t think on his feet as fast. I think he has learned since then, and won't let that happen again.

In all honesty, I would rather have ANY of the candidates in the Oval Office, than Obama. I’m certain any of them would do a much better job!

My biggest hope, would be that Obama would lose by a landslide!

Gee, did I mention how Washington loves it too? (even though most of them don't believe a word of it either).

How do they benefit? They get government money to give to their States, which in turn also gives to their Universities.. The States benefit, the colleges keep getting grants so it keeps the highly over paid professors (and others) employed for years and years to come.

It's a money maker for all, that's all it is, but a complete and total scam of American tax dollars!! The American public (in general) will believe just about anything if it's on T.V. and it's said often enough (or especially on CNN).

If yer a Three Stooges fan, good / bad or indifferent, Ya gotta see this! lolol

Wow! wow! wow! I wasn't ready for this one. Talk about drama! I don't care how thick skinned you are, if this movie doesn't draw a tear or two from you, I don't know what will. Very very emotional movie !!! Excellent acting by eighth grade actor Thomas Horn.

I had no idea who this kid was, so when I got home I looked him up on the internet. To my amazement, I found out this was his first ever acting job, let alone a big screen movie !! Here below is a bio on him that I found.

Thomas Horn first gained national attention at age 12 in July 2010 when he made headlines for winning first place on Teen Jeopardy with $31,800 in prize money. Movie producer Scott Rudin saw Thomas on the show and suggested him to director Stephen Daldry, who was searching for the lead for his movie Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.

On Thomas's first day of grade eight, his parents received a call from a casting agent asking if their son wanted to audition for a major motion picture. He landed the role of Oskar, the nine-year-old son of characters played by Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock.

Thomas is fluent in English and Croatian and has studied Spanish and Mandarin. He enjoys reading novels, National Geographic and atlases in his spare time.

If this kid doesn't win some kind of Oscar / Academy Award etc, I would be shocked and disappointed.

Unbelievable acting! I was completely taken back when I read he had never acted before.

So if you don't mind a sad, emotional movie that will move you, this is it!

I'm not positive about giving it a total 10, but I'd say.... 9.5 out of 10 for sure.

Cute movie, but nothing real exciting, more of a T.V. movie than for the big screen. Not any real hard laughs or anything that jumps out at you (that you don't see coming).

Average entertainment in my opinion. So if you can't find anything else to see, then go ahead and pluck down the money, otherwise, wait until it comes out on a DVD rental.

I gave it a 7 out of 10 (and that's being generous). Mary gave it an 8 out of 10.

Red Tails was a LOT better than I was expecting. I always enjoy a movie that is based on a true story, the only problem though, is the word "based". I guess that means it could be half true (or less lol). Putting that aside, the movie was really good. You could see how it was more than likely going to end up on numerous occasions, but it didn't matter, you still enjoyed it.

For a war movie, I don't recall one single bad word in it (I could be wrong, but I don't think so).

I give it a 9 out of 10.

I didn't want to go to see this, but my wife Mary wanted to, so I went, and now I'm glad I did. Very Very well done. It kept my interest the whole time. Good story line etc, and really good scenery.

I give it an 8 out of 10.

This is "Sherlock Holmes / A Game Of Shadows".

Great movie. I had heard it wasn't as good as the first one, but I totally disagree, it's as good, or better in my opinion.

I give it a 9 out of 10.

Mission Impossible 4

Super super good if you like fast action. This one will keep you on the edge of your seat! Tom Cruise actually did all of his stunts for the movie (the guy is a mad man once you see what he did!).

You won't be disappointed with this one!
